The holidays are supposed to be joyful — but for a lot of men, they quietly add pressure, exhaustion, and stress we don’t always talk about.
In this short, honest check-in episode, we hit record before Christmas to talk about where we’re actually at, not where we’re expected to be.
Recorded over Zoom, this conversation happened because life got in the way. Tommy is run down and fighting off sickness right before a family vacation. Tim keeps his distance to avoid spreading germs while his wife prepares for surgery. Both of us are feeling the weight of the year — mentally, physically, and emotionally.
We talk about: Why even a quick check-in can matter more than a long conversation? How men often push through sickness, stress, and burnout without saying much? We discuss the difference between getting a break… and actually feeling rested. Why slowing down can feel uncomfortable, especially for men?
This isn’t a polished holiday episode. It’s a real moment of honesty, the kind of conversation many men have in their heads, but rarely out loud.
If you’re heading into the holidays feeling tired, overwhelmed, or just “off,” this episode is for you.
You’re not behind. You’re human.
